Axe is my boy.  One of my favourite heroes, and my go-to-guy when we need someone tanky.  I don’t have much to say about him, except that I love the Dota 2 treatment he’s received.  Speaking of himself in the third person, combined with some truly awful (but amazing) puns has just served to cement the place he has in my heart.

Quick Axe anecdote for the WC3 buffs.  I once faced off against Mannoroth (Azgalor, Pit Lord) in our own base after the enemy had pushed our bottom lane all the way in.

I called.

He cast rain of fire.

I used culling blade.

He died.

Rain of fire went on for one more tick.

I died.

That moment remains my favourite Dota memory.  For those who are saying “so what?” maybe you should watch this.
