Defenders 015: Tinker

Better late than never. Here’s your Tinker, Evermourn. Still accepting votes for the next hero in the series in the thread over at r/Dota2. Vote with your orange!

Tinker is another one of my favourite heroes, and unlike Axe, didn’t have an equivalent in HoN. There’s just something so satisfying about porting into a lane, pushing the hell out of it with March of the Machines, and teleporting out when enemy heroes show up, only to do the exact same thing in the opposite lane seconds later. I would usually build a pure pusher Tinker (laser and MotM, rush BoT then Manta, sheepstick), and people would tell me that I’m doing it wrong, but I never really cared.

All I cared about was killing towers, which is something I did with startling efficiency.

On the subject of pushing, who is your favourite pusher in Dota, and why? A close second for me is PL, but that’s a story for another day.

Broodmother was my favorite early pusher. At level 3, she could get an high populated army of spiders and if there were no AOE heroes on the other side, she could destroy two tower from one line after five minutes. I called it night of the spider.

Btw pusher? I’d say Jakiro~ clears the creep waves fast even early game.
